Greetings to all of my fellow alums. It has been a good start to the year for our organization. We are on track to meet our goal of 240 paid members, at least as long as the mail keeps coming in the way it has been. And don’t misunderstand me, I would love to see 500 new members this year! Don't think that because we are on track to achieve this goal that your donation won't make a difference, we need all the help we can get. We have many children's lives to make an impact on. This can only be achieved with your direct help. This does not only mean paying your dues but what about coming back and attending a basketball game or touring the campus? We love seeing you at Flag Day -- why not help flipping those burgers instead of just eating those tasty morsels. If you watch the news these days, it's becoming more evident now that we need to interact with our young people. Remember all of the people who helped you along the way, maybe it was Ray Borgia or Mr. Dunlevy or Lou Sherman or a cottage parent or teacher? How about having a present to open at Christmas, do you remember how good it felt to receive that? That’s what we want to be able to do for all of the boys and girls at both campuses, to give them the same great feelings you once had. Plus, let's not forget the challenge issued to us by Mr. Irwin for camp. Make a difference in someones life, you once lived at Glenwood yourself! Become a paid member today!

Paid membership is still $25 a year. Lifetime Membership is a one time $500 gift which means no more dues are paid. Lifetime Commitments are $100 dollars or more for up to 5 years totaling $500. We would like everyone to consider our Lifetime Membership challenge. Your Lifetime Membership contribution is placed into a CD account at 5% or greater, earning us $25 each year for each Lifetime Member, and this continues long after the member’s lifetime. Each $500 contribution in a 5% CD in 20 years becomes the equivalent to 40 years of contributions. Imagine the growth of your contribution over time. Now imagine what we can do to help Glenwood provide a better childhood experience for its students with these funds.
